WINE CLUB

Direct cellar access at fixed markup, personal tasting notes, micro-producer allocations, and events.

The Concept

Every week at the wine bar, dozens of bottles are opened, evaluated, and debated. Most never make the cut. The ones that do are rarely commercial labels; they are honest wines made by independent vignerons across Portugal—often in runs of only a few hundred or thousand bottles.

This club is built around that personal selection process. Curated personally by Rafa, secured in small batches, and delivered four times a year.

How It Works

Deliveries go out four times a year aligned with seasonal drinking and safe transport windows:

  • Early Spring: First week of March

  • Summer Allocation: First week of June

  • Autumn Post-Harvest: First week of October

  • Winter & Holiday Cellar: First week of December

Choose between two tiers:

1. The 6-Bottle Taster — 240.00€ (+ 24€ shipping & certified packaging)

  • 6 seasonal bottles selected directly from Rafa's tasting bench.

  • Tasting Dossiers & Provenance: Unfiltered “à la Rafa” notes on why each wine was chosen, grape varieties, soil, and drinking windows.

  • Total landed: 264.00€ (44.00€ per bottle).

  • Discovery pack only. No Private Restock Perk.

2. The 12-Bottle Allocation — 465.00€ (+ 48€ shipping & certified packaging)

  • The complete 12-bottle allocation (our core seasonal cellar selection).

  • Full Tasting Dossiers & Provenance notes.

  • The 15% Private Restock Perk: Direct access to re-order your favorite wines at cellar-door cost + a flat 15% markup. This is where this becomes wine math and get your money back!

  • Tasting Room Connection: Priority access to closed producer tastings, winemaker dinners, and table reservations.

  • Total landed: 513.00€ (42.75€ per bottle).

The Member Perk: The 15% Private Restock Perk (12-Bottle Members Only)

The quarterly drop is designed for discovery of what Rafa selects. The Private Buying Sheet is how you stock your home cellar.

When you open an allocation bottle and find a wine you want to drink regularly, you shouldn’t have to track it down at retail shop prices. As a 12-bottle member, you unlock direct access to re-order available wines at our direct cost + a flat 15% markup (plus applicable tax and shipping).

  • No Retail Multipliers: Bottlings that retail in specialty wine shops for €35–€45 can typically be re-ordered for roughly €17–€20.

  • Cellar Stocking: Re-order as much as you want (depending on producer availability) in 6-bottle boxes. Apologies, has to be at least 6 bottles.

Allocation Membership

Due to strict parcel limits with our vignerons, membership cannot expand beyond 100 cellars. Once all allocations are filled, new applicants join the private waitlist.

This wine club is exclusive to the people who have met me personally or come recommended by current members.
